Websites for tradies who'd rather be on the tools
I'm Joe, a registered electrician in Whenuapai. I build homepages that get the phone ringing: quick on a phone, your number up top, your real jobs and reviews. Nothing made up.
What I check on a tradie's site
A homeowner with a tripped board or a leaking cylinder gives your site about five seconds before they ring the next name on Google. These are the things that decide whether that call comes to you.
| Check | Why it matters | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Works properly on a phone | Most people find a tradie on their phone. If they have to pinch and zoom, they leave. | |
| Tap-to-call at the top | Customers call far more than they fill in forms. Your number should be one tap away. | |
| Secure (https) with no warnings | A "not secure" warning in the browser looks dodgy, and Google ranks you lower for it. | |
| Loads fast | A slow page on mobile data loses people before they've seen your name. | |
| A short quote form | For the ones who can't call during work hours. Name, phone, suburb, the job. That's it. | |
| Your services and area, in plain words | "Heat pump install, North Shore" beats "comprehensive electrical solutions" every time. | |
| Looks current | A footer that says 2017 makes people wonder if you're still trading. | |
| Only real content | Your own photos, your actual reviews, your real licences. No stock photos or made-up claims. |
How it works
I look at your current site
Your services, area, photos and reviews: what's working and what's costing you calls.
You see a new homepage first
I build a concept homepage from your real details and send you a private link. No cost to have a look.
If you like it, I build the rest
The full site, your domain, your quote form going to your phone, and Google set up so people can find you.
Sites I've built
My own two businesses and a mate's electrical and solar company. Have a look on your phone, that's where it counts.
Got an email from me?
The homepage I sent you is a private concept, not a live website. It isn't listed on Google, it's built only from what's already public on your own site and Google listing, and it's not connected to your business in any way.
Not interested? Reply "no thanks" and I won't contact you again, and I'll take the concept down.
Want more calls from your website?
Give me a ring or flick me an email. I'm on the tools during the day, so if I don't pick up I'll call you back.
